About this print
A grand civic plaza and monumental buildings, imagined for Chicago in graphite and watercolor by delineator Jules Guerin for the 1909 Plan of Chicago. The plan's domed civic center was never built, which means this is a beautiful postcard from a city that does not exist. Architectural fantasy at its finest.
