A royal couple head out after blackbuck, the elegant spiral horned antelope of the Indian plains, in opaque watercolor touched with gold. Made in Murshidabad or Lucknow in the mid 1700s, it shows that court hunting was very much a two person sport. Date night, but make it an expedition.
