Twelve cat heads arranged in rows and numbered like a lineup: lion, tiger, leopard, snow leopard, clouded leopard, caracal, lynx, and a run of smaller cats down the bottom. It comes from a 1900 sporting reference that catalogued animals in order to shoot them, which the plate itself does not mention. Read as a chart it is clinical. Read as twelve faces it is something else.
