About this print
A ferocious tiger, proudly advertised as drawn from life by Utagawa Kunimaro in 1860. Tigers were not native to Japan, so most Edo artists worked from skins, imported paintings and pure imagination, which made a from life claim a serious flex. Big cat energy with a showman's headline, perfect for anyone who loves a little hype.
